Grateful for retrieving the lost wallet
I lost my wallet on a flight from Washington to Paris before reaching my destination. After I contacted Air France, I was notified of a possible match within 24 hours. That was great.
Then I need to create an account and pay 12 Euro to proceed. I wish to do those after the match is confirmed.
At that point, I was presented two options. One is to have it mailed to me. The cost was 84 Euro, which seems a bit high but I desperately need the credit card in it. It turned out that I couldn't pay with my credit card when the card was not with me, so I changed my itinerary to pick it up in person at CDG on my way back. That option requires making an appointment by filling up a request form. I never found the form nor received reply after contacting in multiple ways. I was nervous whether I can retrieve my wallet at CDG without an appointment. Fortunately, when I showed up in CDG, the ladies there were very nice and helpful, and my wallet was returned. So while some improvements may be possible, overall I truly appreciate all the help, thank you!
